Issaquah Skateboard Park
 
The Issaquah Skateboarding Park opened to the public on the Fourth of July. Students helped with site preparation by digging trenches and picking up rocks. Three years of work went into the project by area youths in the form of pleas to the city council, organization and fund-raising. The city provided $40,000 and youth raised about $2,500 for construction. The park is located directly behind the Community Center.
